All meetings run 7:00pm - 8:30pm at Aqua Water Building in Bastrop, behind HEB on Old Austin Highway, unless otherwise noted.  Please check the website on a month to month basis to be sure of the location. We are a rapidly growing group and may move to a larger venue. If we have your email address, we will email reminders for meetings and their location.

The County Executive Committee (CEC) Meetings are large group meetings where Precinct Chairs and Members gather to conduct statutory business such as the election of new Precinct Chairs, certify election results, and other general business.  We may occasionally have speakers, but they will be there not to inspire, but to teach us how to accomplish our goals, such as grassroots organizing techniques, etc.

The Interim Committee Based (IBC) Meetings will start with the larger group to address non-statutory business/planning issues and then break into 3 or more separate committees to plan/teach/evaluate their specific areas of concern.  In the last 20-30 minutes we will gather again as a large group to report out of committee on our accomplishments.  Committees as of 7/17/07 are Precinct Organizing, Candidate Recruitment, and Finance/Fundraising.  We anticipate the formation of an Issues Committee at a later date. You are welcome to participate in the group of your choice.
